Fail of the Day: Survey Says… Young Women Would Release a Sex Tape to Get Ahead
September 14, 2010
According to a survey from the dating site CanDoBetter.com, 64 percent of young women would release a sex tape if it would help advance their careers. The survey targeted 2,800 Generation Y users of the website. So are younger generations of women and girls taking cues from the likes of Kim Kardashian, Montana Fishburne, or Paris Hilton?
The survey also found that 45 percent of the women surveyed would sleep with their college professor to pass a college course. Not all of the questions were sex related as the survey found that 36 percent of the women surveyed would blackmail a co-worker or a boss to get ahead. Surprisingly only 42 percent of men surveyed said they would pull a "Kardashian" or a "Montana" or a "Paris Hilton" to get ahead.
It’s hard to say how representative these numbers are of the general population, but it definitely gives you something to think about. I think it’s pretty obvious by the title how I feel about this issue and hopefully the young women out there are really not thinking like this. I would love to hear what some of you think about these number and where you stand on this issue…
